Meditation & Power of Breath

Science of Breath:

Controlling the breath and thus calming the nerves, is a prerequisite to controlling the mind and body.

Breathing:
  1. Breathing is an energy
  2. Proper breathing can supply over 99% of our oxygen and energy supply
  3. Breathing can cure medically challenged diseases
  4. Without O2, the body cannot convert food into energy
Benefits of Breathing:
  1. Increases physical energy
  2. Lowers blood pressure and heart rate
  3. Reduces lactic acid build-up in muscle tissues
  4. Balances O2 and CO2 in the body
  5. Improves immune system
  6. Releases anxiety and promotes better health
Disease is a manifestation of an imbalance in the flow of prana (energy of the mind and body).  According to yoga and science of breath (pranayama) – life force energy – can be controlled with discipline.
